Focus on the Family Canada is hosting a free evening especially for ministry couples!
Ministry can be hard on a marriage. At Focus, we understand the challenges of balancing family life with the responsibilities of spiritual leadership. It’s easy to become weary in serving others while neglecting our own marriages.
That’s why we’re hosting these special two-hour (7pm-9pm) evenings called Thriving in the Fishbowl. They’re designed to inspire ministry couples, to help them focus on the joy of marriage so they can be an example to the people in their church and community.
Make it a date night, take a break with us and allow us the privilege of ministering to your hearts with Biblical insight, helpful resources and meaningful fellowship.
Everyone needs inspiration – healthy marriages in the church are often modelled on healthy marriages in the ministry. These evenings are for all members of your leadership team and their spouses, whether on staff or not. Be sure to invite other pastors and denominational friends, too. Make this meaningful investment into your marriage. You’ll be glad you did.
Although the event is free, couples need to register online for the specific evening they wish to attend. Once registered, they’ll receive a free copy of our Marriage Connection DVD with all four sessions presented by Laird Crump, as well as other great marriage resources.

The regular meeting of the Saint John Ministerial association will take place on April 25th at 10:30 AM (note that this is the fourth Thursday of the month)

At our May meeting we will be electing our executive for the next year.

Pray Saint John – Palm Sunday – 24th March – 6.30pm at Forest Hills Baptist Church
On Palm Sunday – the greater Saint John Ministerial is inviting the people from all the churches in Saint John and surrounding towns to come together to pray and worship together – to welcome Jesus into our city and celebrate the ways in which He is already working and present.
This is an awesome opportunity to gather together during the Easter season – one body, in unity, praying for the city. PLEASE PASS THIS INVITATION ON TO OTHERS IN THE CHURCH!
Reminder: We are meeting at Full Gospel Assembly this Thursday for a time of prayer as we told you before. We will have a video update with some prayer requests from Mayor Norton.

The next regular meetin is feb 21st at Full Gospel Assembly. Meeting time 10:30-11:30. No lunch. This is a prayer assembly. We will bring a report from the city or area to give us to momentum to pray. This may be a guest like the mayor or a leader in another Sector. We will let you know before the meeting.
We are also planning a larger prayer gathering on Palm Sunday evening.

It involves training thousands of Christians to develop effective relationships with neighbors, friends, family members, and co-workers who need Jesus Christ, then to invite these people into the Christian hosts’ homes for a meal or dessert and a half-hour DVD or TV Gospel presentation by our founder, Billy Graham. When the presentation ends, the Christian hosts explain their hope in Christ and invite their guests to commit their lives to Him.
As part of preparations for this outreach, we are holding free training sessions for church leaders who want to prepare and train their own congregation members to carry out this bold outreach.
